As I read the word “Tarot”, the first thing comes to my mind is parrot. People in India use a parrot to pick up a tarot card.
I often wondered if at all it is a good way to read about a person. That was a question I needed to know to cultivate my conviction and get over the guilt of superstition. The answer came from several sources that it is the subconscious at work when one chooses the card oneself, and the universal consciousness comes to play when it is a parrot.
As I am writing this, I want the words to flow from the intelligence of the universal consciousness, that is the ‘presence’ which is never an absence; it is there whether I recognize it or not. So is the Tarot.
In case the skepticism is too overbearing to be handled, there is prayer which calms the mind and allows the subconscious to be effective. There is difference in choosing a card while being agitated and while being calm.
Read the following before you select your Tarot cards:
Mother Nature, my Spirit Guide, Guardian Angels, and Spirits of the Earth, I ask for your help and guidance with this reading.
Guard me with a circle of white, joyous light – encapsulated in shimmering purple – and send my grounding cord deep into the Earth.
Please speak to me through this Tarot card reading and guide me on my journey towards an answer.
The second thing is the believe that the readings are true. What if these are not true? On very bad days I often used to dismiss the reading. Recently, however, I have come to terms with my mind. I have learnt to accept and forgive its chivalrousness.
My exercise today is as follows:
a. Life structure: Ego I am attached to : Recognition My intention of non-attachment : Let recognition chose any being. I am meant for a higher zone |
b. Life structure: Livelihood I am attached to : To get to the highest level My intention of non-attachment : I am star leader who works for the best performance of my colleagues and shape big achievements for the sake of the community |
c. Life structure: Finance I am attached to : To be highest paid individual in my sector My intention of non-attachment : I am paid voluntarily for my service without asking. |
d. Life structure: Community I am attached to : I am Forbes 100 best business performer My intention of non-attachment: My activities bring in prosperity to the community |
e. Life structure: Relationships I am attached to : I have to be a top influencer My intention of non-attachment: My passions will embody the power of influence. I have to keep doing what I love. |
It is a ‘letting go’ phase when my current version is about to give way to my best version of v10. It is meant to be such a jump, so the mind will not let go of its usual helplessness and victimhood state. Hence there is a feeling of vacuum at the moment.
And I drew my five cards. Take a look at the reading:
The unexpected gift that has come is to write for the source I follow- ‘Trusted Tarot’, the reading of ‘my calling’.
Discover your Calling
This special reading helps you discover your true purpose…
What is your calling?
Four of pentacles : Your calling involves working with money, in the financial industry in some way, but for the greater good rather than for personal profit. For example, you might embody this calling by assisting social enterprises in finding funding or grants, or by working in a socially responsible credit union. Alternatively, if you have the means, you may feel drawn to being an angel investor in businesses which will make a difference. The theme of this calling is to use financial means, yours or not, to spread positive change.
What’s blocking you from heeding your calling?
Queen of swords: You may feel that you can’t financially afford to follow your calling at this time. It may involve some element of financial sacrifice, if for example, your current job pays more than your calling would. This is a difficult challenge to wrestle with, since of course it’s important that you meet your current financial responsibilities. However, there may be creative ways in which you can still get started towards your calling. Discuss the issue with your family and see what you can come up with.
The Next Steps You Should Take
King of swords: The next step towards your calling may scare you – but it’s time to make that leap. This may involve leaving your current job, even if it pays well, or perhaps making financial sacrifices in some other way. Nobody takes this kind of decision lightly, but a large part of following a spiritual calling is to trust your instincts, and to trust that that the universe will support you. Do not do anything from which you and your loved ones could not recover, financially, but d o be ready and willing to take some chances.
Look at the alignment the cards have along with the life structures I am
Trust in the universal consciousness that is the ‘presence’ which is never an absence is very powerful. With no clue at hand, although I have been struggling with all these consciousness I am letting go.
The most powerful question I am now asking which empowers me is:
Why am I so financially powerful with all my needs met, and all that I cherish to have come true?
Let me draw the Tarot with the submission. It is a 10 card draw. The interpretation are as follow:
Current influences: The Five of Wands is never a welcome card, as long tradition suggests you will be in line for struggle and aggravation.
A personal ambition of yours is within reach, but it cannot be achieved without struggle.
Obstacles : Nine of cups : Expect to be truly happy.
You can anticipate emotion and material stability, leading towards fulfillment.
Past Foundations: The star : It is a light in the darkness, illuminating your future and your past.
You cannot wallow in the past, so begin to apply positive energy to helping yourself.
Past Events: Four of cups : I Now is the time to take risks, as the price of failure is far less than the cost of no longer seeking success.
You have recently considered a new approach to solve an old problem. Down this road lies a good chance of success.
Goals and destiny : Three of swords: This pain is likely caused by, or the result of, conflict, perhaps due to disrupted partnership or friendship. This pain may be part of a new beginning, but you must face your pain honestly to overcome it.
Ahead lies the future, and for you it is still wide open. Do not fear the uncertainty, embrace the freedom.
Future : Four of swords : offers you respite from the battles in your life. The peace may be temporary, but appreciate it while it lasts
There is no reason to rush in the near future. Take the time to decide what is best for you and the people you care about, and plan out future actions.
The Querent (you) : Ten of Wands : It can indicate both excessive workloads in pursuit of your goals, or as a result of attaining them.
You have an opportunity to purge yourself of some narrow-minded ideas that have become fixed in you.
Friends and Family: Ace of cups: Expect copious joy, happiness, and love to surround you during this time. Existing personal relationships may strengthen, meaningful new ones are likely to form. If marriage is in your future, you are likely to lay the foundations for it during this time
A true love and friendship, built on emotion given and received in equal measure will begin.
I smiled at this card.
Hopes, fears and ideals (Inner emotions): Eight of pentacles: Unlike most of the suit, financial gain is not necessarily indicated, but a spiritual reward is. This is also not a guarantee, but rather a suggestion that if you are prudent and organized in your attempts, success is the likelier outcome.
Your work will be satisfying if you find a job that complements your talents and training.
Hopes, fears and ideals (Inner emotions): King of cups : To find him in your spread is most likely a reference to someone else who will aid you in achieving your goals. This person may seem unconcerned, even distant, but their motivations are pure. Whatever advice they give will be important to you and should be considered in your own deliberations. If it does refer to you personally, it shows an inner strength and tightly disciplined control of emotions.
You will find a favorable result through hard work and the intervention of a powerful ally on your behalf.
I am sure there are a lot still, beyond my preset paradigm.
I keep reading Trusted Tarot so as to take an inkling of what is in store ad what is already known to my subconscious within.
